A small side-handle teapot made for quiet tea sessions and sharing with 2–3 people.
Inspired by the textures and weathered surfaces of tree bark, the body is worked with sodium silicate and then gently stretched, encouraging the clay surface to crack, open and form its own organic bark-like pattern. Each pot develops differently through this process, creating a tactile surface of fine fissures, grooves and earthy variation that can’t be repeated exactly.
The warm, sandy tones and textured finish give the pot a grounded, almost ancient quality — something made to be held, used and lived with over time.
