Mini Teabowls

Small, playful teabowls made to sit naturally in the hand and bring a little more tactility into your daily tea ritual.

Each bowl is intentionally formed a little off-round, with soft thumb indentations, organic swirls and grooves worked into the surface. These marks give the bowls their individual character while creating places for the glaze to gather, pool and break differently across each form.

Finished in an iron-rich wood-ash glaze, the firing has brought out earthy tones of ochre, bronze, deep brown and golden olive. The glaze responds differently to every ridge, spiral and indentation, making each bowl distinctly one of a kind.

There’s a looseness and playfulness to these little forms — made not in pursuit of perfect symmetry, but to celebrate the gesture of the hand and the unpredictability of clay and fire.

Handmade and individually formed, so dimensions and shape vary slightly from bowl to bowl.

Wood-ash glaze with red iron oxide.
Electric fired to stoneware temperature of 1260°C.

Pour slowly. Drink mindfully.
