This is a heavy-handed, do-everything ripe — the kind of tea you reach for when you want depth, strength, and reliability without overthinking it. Strong Menghai character leads the way, with dark umber forest notes and a steady undercurrent of sweetness that carries through the session.
It’s drinking well now in 2024 — fresh, solid, and satisfying — but the real story is what’s coming. Give it a few more years and this tea will grow into a true powerhouse.
